A mature tree taken down in sections, between a house and a barn.

A big mature tree wedged between a brick house and a tile-hung barn. No room to fell it whole, no room to drop heavy wood on the ground. We sectioned it down, slowly, safely. Tidy ground when we left.

A photo from the A mature tree taken down in sections, between a house and a barn. case study in Robertsbridge.

A big mature Oak sat between a brick house and a tile-hung barn, with limbs reaching over both rooflines. There was no clean drop on either side and no room to take it down whole.

We sectioned it all down from the bottom up all off rope and harness. Each piece came off the saw on a strop, swung clear of the buildings.

The second big Oak, another tight spot, lowered down in sections piece at a time slowly and safely, The trunk came down in big rounds at the end, lifted out with the HIAB, quickly, safely, efficiently.

Brash was chipped and cleared, the rounds taken off for firewood, neat and tidy when we left.
